History of the Brookside
History of the Brookside
The Brookside has been locally owned and operated for MANY years, starting with a local family. The Rhodes lived onsite and started with just a few rooms. As their family grew, so did the property. At one point, they had a hair salon run by their daughter and a coffee shop. After the Rhodes raised their family and everyone was out of the home, they decided it was time to enjoy life a little more, so they sold The Brookside to the Alexander Family. Tammy and Nate Alexander ran the property for 16 years. Again, it was a family affair. They raised their kids there and met some amazing people over the years. After 16 years, it was time for a change, so in May of 2013, Tammy and Nate decided to move and live full-time in their “winter residence” and work on their ranch. They built a new home and relocated, selling the property to the current owners - Bruce Kitterman, Rob Regan, and Tammy Gilbertson.
